Antique pottery and antique ceramics are always in the LINDA HORN COLLECTION as some of Linda’s early collecting started with colorful ceramics. She has used the vibrant colors of antique English majolica to decorate her own homes for many years. Presently in the inventory there are items in English pottery and ceramics, Chinese ceramics, and French pottery. These include: an English ceramic fruit pyramid that was used for display in Fortnum and Mason; a pair of porcelain vases in cobalt blue by Alfred B. Pearce, London; a pair of painted terra cotta cockerel vases from Nancy, France; a French porcelain wild boar head tureen; English terra cotta dogs and painted ceramic dogs; a ceramic garden seat in the blue chrysanthemum pattern; tables with painted ceramic tops; Chinese ceramic vases and jardinieres; and even a large white glazed ceramic sitting room fireplace. For ceramic vases, ceramic teapots and ceramic serving dishes be sure to look under the majolica category.
LINDA HORN is known for having her collection of ceramic and pottery pieces in the finest colors and condition. Be sure to watch for continual additions to this category.
